Colorized view of the Palais de Longchamps in Marseille, with its monumental façade adorned with sculptures and fountains, and pedestrians on the paved courtyard. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Mrs. Joanne Alligre at Mr. Ballet's in Perreven, with a red Marseille postage stamp (12-9-06) and a postmark.
