Illustration of a large bell of the Notre-Dame de la Garde basilica in Marseille, cast in 1845 by the Morel workshop of Lyon and blessed by Monsignor Mazenod. The front indicates the dimensions (2m40 in diameter, 2m50 in height) and the weight (8.234 kg for the bell, 387 kg for the clapper), as well as the godparents and godmothers. The back is blank, with the typical fields for correspondence and address of a postcard.
