View of the Notre-Dame de la Garde basilica in Marseille, with its statue of the Virgin at the top of the hill and visitors below. On the reverse, a postcard dated July 23, 1938, sent from Marseille-Station to Nancy, with the inscription « Bon courage, Pense à toi » and the recipient's address. The stamp is canceled « MARSEILLE-GARE ».
