Colorized view of the Palais Longchamp in Marseille, featuring a large central fountain with sculptures and water jets, surrounded by gardens and neoclassical buildings. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Mr. Baril, General Controller in Fécamp, with a note of correspondence from Marseille. Green 5-centime postmark of the French Republic, canceled.
