View of the Palais Longchamp in Marseille, with a central garden and fountain, dated around 1925. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to « Messieurs et Madame Vieux » in Châtillon-sur-Loire, with a note of apology for not being able to leave. Blue « République Française » stamp canceled in Marseille.
