View of Place Castellane in Marseille, centered on the Place Castellane Fountain with a statue on a column, surrounded by trams and urban buildings. On the reverse, a postcard sent in 1939 from Marseille, with a 30-centime stamp and an address to Villefranche-sur-Saône, accompanied by a handwritten message: 'Good memories and good friendships'.
