Black and white illustration of a procession of penitents in Marseille in 1835, with a crowd in white robes and hoods carrying a statue of the Virgin and a cross. The reverse shows a postcard sent to Madame Calmon in Châlons-sur-Marne, with a red 10-centime stamp and a postmark from Béziers dated April 12, 1912.
