Description

View of the Gate of Mons in Maubeuge, with a dated inscription of 1742 (MDCLXXXII) and 1798 (MDCCCLXXXVIII) above the arch. A man walks on the paved path leading to the entrance. On the reverse, a postcard dated 25 June 1909, sent to Monsieur in Paris, with a green 5-centime stamp and partial cancellation.
