Description

Monumental statue of the Virgin Mary with an angel and allegorical figures, located in Meaux. Printed text identifies the work as the Bassuet Monument, created by Ernest Dubola. On the reverse, a handwritten inscription 'Souvenirs de promenades amoureuses' and an address to 'Melly Perceron, Sévres'. Postmark of 5 centimes and a cancellation stamp from Sevres dated 9-8-1908.
