Black and white engraved illustration of the Cathedral of Meaux, with a statue of the Germain on a balcony to the right and an angel in the foreground. Printed text at the bottom: 'Meaux. In front of the Church of Meaux the Germain is nothing but a green woodpecker.' Dated 1914-15. Reverse: blank postcard with space for correspondence and address, printed 'Impr. L. Fontaine, 23 Rue Prud'homme, Paris' at the bottom left.
