Black and white view of Megève with the Aiguille du Varan (2488 m) in the background, overlooking a village with light-colored roofs and a church. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 13-2-45, addressed to 'Chérie Marguerite', mentioning a planned return in June and sincere affection from 'Ton bien affectueux Georges'.
