View of Melun showing the Notre-Dame cathedral with its two towers and the adjacent Central House, bordering a watercourse. The reverse has a top inscription: 'All foreign countries do not accept correspondence on the front, inquire at the post office', a handwritten date of 28/11/09, and an address to Montmagny. A green 5-centime stamp and a Montmagny (Seine-et-Oise) cancellation from September 1, 1909.
