Description

Religious procession in Mende with penitents in white robes carrying a large cross, observed by a dense crowd. On the reverse, correspondence dated April 10, 1918 sent to Madame Marie, Sainte Élisa Room, at the temporary hospital in Vesoul, with a French postage stamp of 5 centimes canceled in Marseille on 08.04.1903.
