Description

View of the entrance to the terrace of the sanctuary of the Nativity of the Virgin in Menton, with a large wooden cross in the foreground and cypresses in the background. The reverse has a handwritten letter dated Tuesday, 6th, sent from the Hôtel Richelieu in Menton, mentioning a pilgrimage to the sanctuary and a visit to the chapel. A blue stamp and a circular cancellation are visible.
