Colorized view of the Promenade du Midi in Menton, lively with many pedestrians under a twilight sky, with palm trees and buildings in the background. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated September 1, 1929, addressed to the Hotel Maruin in Würenlos, Switzerland, with a 90-cent postage stamp and a Menton postmark.
