Postcard showing a turbulent sea under a cloudy sky, with a green 5-centime stamp of the French Republic canceled. On the reverse, handwritten text addresses the card to Monsieur Georges Boni in Paris, with the inscription 'From the sea, affectionately, V. Castel, 12 rue du Piémont'. The publisher is Brunner & Cie, Como & Zürich, and the serial number 7089-B S. 01 is visible at the bottom left.
