View of the beach and promenade in Mers-les-Bains with swimmers, tents, and pedestrians in period attire. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 22 July 1924 addressed to Monsieur L. Chefallier in Paris, with a 40-centime stamp and a postmark from Mers-les-Bains.
