Panoramic view of the Oise canal in Méry, with a steam tugboat emitting smoke and several barges lined up. The back features a handwritten letter dated February 6, 1914, addressed to Mr. Demwalde in Barloge des Biein, with a 5-centime French postage stamp and a postmark from 'LES PELLY' (Manche).
