Group of cavalrymen in military uniform in a field in Metz, on 26 November 1918. The first cavalryman holds the reins of a black horse, while another carries a flag. On the back, a handwritten letter from Escadrille 28, Sector 837, mentioning a stay in Metz for training in Germany and a prospect of returning to Paris.
