View of the Portal of the Virgin of the Metz Cathedral, adorned with Gothic sculptures and framed by metal grilles, with a few visitors in period attire. On the reverse, handwritten address to Mademoiselle Jeanne Bouisset at La Moilleraie, Loire-Inférieure, and a 10-centime postmark with a Metz post office cancellation dated 10 October 1909.
