View of the Gothic cathedral in Metz, with its imposing bell tower and portal, in the middle of a lively square filled with pedestrians and a fiacre. On the reverse, a postcard dated April 23, 1933, sent from Metz-R. Lafayette to M. Dietrich in Colombes (Seine), with a 20-centime stamp and a handwritten inscription 'Affectionate Memories'.
