View of the Porte des Allemands in Metz, with its stone towers and a bridge in the background. The reverse features a handwritten inscription 'Joyeux souvenirs de vacances' addressed to Suzanne Lebon in Rambouillet, with a violet 17 T stamp and a Metz cancellation dated 26.10.1919.
