Statue of the « Poilu » in Metz, a monument erected in honor of French soldiers of World War I, with the inscription « ON LES A » on the pedestal. Reverse: dated postcard from July 8, 1921, sent from Metz to Marseille, with handwritten text and partially crossed-out recipient address (Mr. and Mrs. Louis Martin).
