Description

Commemorative monument in Metz dedicated to the 'Liberator Soldier', with a statue of a soldier and an allegorical figure at the top. The inscription 'AU POILU LIBERATEUR LE SOUVENIR FRANÇAIS A MOSELLE' is engraved on the pedestal, dated 1918. The reverse features a handwritten address in Paris and a 10-centime postmark canceled in Metz.
