Black and white view of the Palace of the Governor in Metz, an imposing neo-Gothic building with slate roofs and towers, surrounded by a wooded park. On the back, the publisher is identified as 'C.A.P.' and the printed text states '54 METZ - Palace of the Governor'. The handwritten address is directed to 'Bonjour de Metz' in Paris, with a 15 franc stamp and a Metz cancellation from May 13, 1953.
