Description

View of the Palace of Justice in Metz, an imposing stone building with a monumental entrance adorned with statues and a clock face. The printed text on the front indicates several names in German and French. The back has a handwritten inscription dated November 3, 1912, mentioning the German occupation, an address in Bar-sur-Aube, and a 5 pfennig German Empire postage stamp canceled in Metz.
