Description

Devastated view of a street in Bar-Je-Duc (Meuse) after World War I 1914-16, with ruins of buildings and debris. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated August 16, 1916, addressed to 'My dear Léonie' in Paris, mentioning photos and family memories.
