Description

View of the Church of Notre-Dame in Mézières with its Gothic spire, accompanied by historical inscriptions: mention of the marriage of Charles IX and Elisabeth of Austria in 1499, and a bomb launched by the Prussians in 1815. Reverse: handwritten correspondence addressed to Madame Zulie Mahen in Meaux, with a 10-centime postage stamp and a postmark from Vannes (Morbihan) dated October 15, 1905.
