Black and white view of the City Hall of Mézières, a Gothic building adorned with two towered spires and a central clock face. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Mrs. Leroy Chussaau in Paris, with a 1 franc 20 postage stamp from the 'Maréchal Foch' series dated 12/01/1940, and a cancellation mark of 'SAINT-AMAND'.
