Description

View of the Palais des Tournelles in Mézières, former building constructed in 1566 by Louis de Gonzague and his wife Henriette de Clèves, where the École du Génie was later established in 1750, becoming the Hôtel de la Préfecture. Reverse: handwritten letter dated 25 November 1918, addressed to 'Dear Aunt Jules', thanking for the postcard and mentioning a return to Vire. The publisher is J. Winling, Charleville.
