Description

View of the entrance to the citadel of Mézières, with the Notre-Dame bastion on the right, whose text explains that it had two floors of casemates and that the building was assigned to the government commissioner before the creation of the prefecture. The reverse has a handwritten address to L. Simonet in Mézières and a postmark from Creuse dated October 14.
