Black and white view of the prefecture in Mézières, with a canal in the foreground where a man is fishing in a small boat. The back has a handwritten address to Emile Pelon, an employee at the General Treasury in Beauvais (Oise), with the inscription 'Friendships and good memories' and a postmark from Beauvais dated 22-10-1908.
