Description

Devastated view of the ruins of Reims after the war, with collapsed walls and debris in the foreground. The reverse details a subscription campaign for the reconstruction of the Reims Music School, founded in 1913, with the participation of Mr. the Mayor and the Marquis de Polignac. A postmark is affixed at the bottom right, partially obscured by a stain.
