Soldier of the 5th Regiment of Irish Lancers in parade uniform, mounted on a brown horse and holding a trumpet, posed on a rocky terrain with a forest in the background. Reverse: postcard by Tuck's Post Card, published by Raphael Tuck & Sons, mentioning the crest, the motto 'Quis separabit', the battles (Blenheim, Ramillies, Oudenarde, Malplaquet, Suakin) and campaigns (South Africa 1899-1902, Defense of Ladysmith).
