Description

Humorous scene in a soldiers' room where an officer in field uniform commands « A LA CHAMBRÉE ! — A vos rangs !.. fixe ! » while the soldiers, in service or rest uniform, react in disarray. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated July 3, 1913, sent to Madame Gérard in Jarville-la-Malgrange, with a 10-centime French Republic postage stamp canceled in Bache.
