Description

Commemorative postcard illustrated with five medallion portraits surrounded by maple leaves, dedicated to the great lost of war. Poetic text in tribute to figures such as Déroulède, Lemaitre, Houssaye, and Albert de Mun. Reverse: handwritten text dated September 1, 1915, addressed to 'my dear Charlotte', with affectionate correspondence. French postmark canceled in Paris, with a Parisian post office circular stamp.
