Description

Satirical postcard depicting a scene in a military hospital with soldiers in blue and red uniforms, a wounded soldier lying in bed, and a doctor. A panel indicates 'Chamber of Agony' and a speech bubble says 'This poor old Class of 1911 has only 155 days left to live'. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated March 18, 1915, addressed to 'Dear Uncle', with a 5-centime stamp and a note 'E.R., Paris - Registered Design'.
