Description

Illustrated postcard showing Prussian soldiers facing a miner and another seated soldier, with printed text at the bottom: « The Prussian officer breaks the glass! He gives a rifle to the young conscript, telling him under threat of death: 'He asks for water, give him lead!' ». Reverse: handwritten letter dated October 28, 1918, addressed to a sister, mentioning trenches and war, with postmark « POSTCARD » and « CAPHIL ».
