Panoramic view of a military camp with numerous white tents lined up on an open field, bordered by trees and a fence. Printed text at the top: '2. - Camp de Mailly. - View of the Tents'. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence addressed to 'Mr. Jeanne F. Sauvane, H.B. Rue de Marabou, Ligny, Meuse', with a letter dated June 1, 1914. A 40-centime postage stamp of the French Republic, canceled in Mailly-le-Camp on May 20, 1914.
