Devastated view of Carencey, a village of 500 inhabitants located 13 km from Arras, soiled by the Germans and later recaptured by French troops in May 1916. Printed text on the front describes the situation. Reverse: correspondence to M. Gasodé Color, 250, Lorgues, Paris, with a postal stamp and partially visible cancellation.
