Description

Postcard depicting a soldier in uniform holding a rifle and a bouquet of flowers, with printed text 'My thoughts fly to yours.' and 'Happy New Year' at the bottom. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated December 29, 1914, sent from Briançon by Paul, territorial infantry 26th company, addressed to his cousin and cousin, with New Year wishes and good health despite the difficulties of war.
