Description

Illustrated advertising postcard for the National Loan 6% 1920, depicting an old man sitting at a table, pointing outward where an airplane flies over a landscape. The printed text invites to subscribe, with the phrase: 'By subscribing, it's still me who makes the good deal.' On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated December 6, 1920, addressed to 'My Dearest Blanche,' recalls vacation memories and disasters, with a mention of 'little Germaine'.
