Black and white view of the ruins of the Great War in Verdun, on La Cote 304, showing a devastated landscape with shell craters and debris. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Mr. Paul Allard in Paris XVII, with a 20-centime postage stamp and a postmark from Meuse dated May 17, 1918.
