View of the ruined church in Erches after the battles of the war 1914-1915, with collapsed walls and destroyed roofs. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 10 October 1915 addressed to Marseille, with a stamp and cancellation 'TRESORET POSTE 12 OCT 13'.
