Description

Humorous postcard depicting a soldier in uniform approaching a woman sitting on a bench, while a baby in a pram points toward them. The printed text at the bottom says: « Keep your paws off, soldier! I don't want to suck butter! ». On the reverse, handwritten address to « Mme de Légon de Beauvillot » at « A Brientot » and mention of « M.D. PARIS » as well as a 20 centime French Republic stamp canceled in Vendeuvre-sur-Barse (Vendée) in 1946.
