Description

Portrait of a French general in dark uniform, wearing a gold-braided képi, adorned with the Legion of Honour and holding a white handkerchief. On the reverse, a postcard dated March 29, 1917, addressed to Madame Galinie Antoinette in Herault, with handwritten correspondence and a 15-centime postage stamp cancelled in Aspian (Hérault).
