Description

Postcard showing the church of Heiltz-le-Maurupt in ruins after the bombings of World War I (1914-15). The printed text emphasizes that even the church was not spared. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated April 30, 1915 is addressed to Valentine Clapier in Marseille, with a postage stamp and a cancellation mark of 'RESOUPEN MAI'.
