Illustrated postcard depicting a soldier in armor at the center of a laurel frame, surrounded by many French and foreign flags. On the reverse, handwritten message: 'Bons baisers à vous, Berth-Capifali' addressed to 'Madame Crudeli, rue de la Marine, Calvi, Corse'. Green 5-centime stamp of the French Republic, canceled in Bordeaux on May 16, 1916. Publisher mark 'L.V.C.' at bottom right.
