Description

French propaganda postcard from 1915 depicting Marianne in a white dress holding a laurel crown, surrounded by soldiers and a dead soldier. Printed text at the bottom: « The citizen never forgets The sacred soil of the Fatherland ». Reverse: handwritten ink writing, address to « Madame Henriette » in Cuy-sur-Allier, with signature « Jean de Vachamp » and mention « Charente Inférieure ».
