Black and white portrait of General de Castelnau in military uniform adorned with decorations and a shoulder strap. Printed text at the bottom: 'LE GÉNÉRAL DE CASTELNAU'. Reverse: handwritten correspondence dated August 5, 1914, addressed to Mr. Guillard, with signature of Henri Pichy. Postmark and cancellation not visible.
